Instead of a Neighborhood Event we are encouraging neighbors to participate in the District 3 Event-A lot of time and effort goes into this for our benefit as well as other people who live in our police district! Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at District Three, 2333 North 49th (parking lot) Help District Three “Give Crime & Drugs A Going Away Party” ~ Food and Refreshments! ~ Live DJ! ~ Classic Cars! ~ Children's Train Ride! ~ Mounted Police! ~ Fire & Police Equipment Exhibition! ~ TONS of Worthwhile Information! National Night Out, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch NATW and co-sponsored by the Milwaukee Police Department, will involve over 15, 000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and Military bases around the world. In all, over 37 million people are expected to participate in America’s Night Out Against Crime”. National Night Out 2010 is being sponsored in part by TARGET, the national corporate sponsor.
