The City will NOT do it - BUT, there is help!

TreePeople and its volunteer Citizen Foresters can help your street plant trees - for beauty; for breathing better (trees filter air); and give us back oxygen - not to mention cooling down your street so you do not need as much use of your air-conditioner.

For your neighborhood there are Grants for TREES

One of the ways to learn how to plant trees in your neighborhood is to call TreePeople 818)753-4600 and ask for the Citizen Forester program. Another, is to ask for the Mentor Program - a program that matches a seasoned Citizen Forester (in your area) to the person - YOU - who has a dream of trees on their street.
