I see the neighborhood watch signs, but I never hear about any meetings - we can reduce the crime/vandalism in the neighborhood if we are more pro-active - how about having some bi-monthly meetings?

I always worry about the safety of my family, so I would sleep better if we started a true neighborhood watch. Count me in.

Crime Watch

In the March newsletter under the title of Annual Meeting. It was noted that Bryon Simpson was interested in starting a crime watch. Did you contact Bryon? His email is nchssimpson@hotmail.com. The annual meetings are in November as also stated in the newsletter. If you didn't recieve the newsletter please email me with your address. I will make sure that our records are correct. As for the crimewatch we have discussed this every year and a few people express interest but don't follow up. We would like to have block captains for each street. They could watch for any supicious behavior and notify the security company.Then through a network of phone calls or e-mails notify the other block captains. They would then let the people on their street or area know of any happenings. Does this sound like something you would particapate in? If so let me know. We could try linking everyone together via e-mail and maybe it will work.
