Madison Park Halloween Trunk or Treat/ Food Truck Rally
Wednesday, October 31
4:30pm to 6:30pm
Madison Central Park
Lsat years 1st Ever Trunk or Treat Food Truck Rally was a huge success, considering the negative actions of some HOA board members to STOP this event form happening literally up to  the last minute in more ways they I can count.
10/31/18 is Halloween ..................Some of you Need to Get A Life!
Ruth Thanks for having the Backbone to bring the Fun back to Madison Park even though it seems some will try and knock you down for every single thing you attempt to do, including American Flags on the 4th, and luminaries at New Year.
It is not like the HOA actually supports you with cash or anything else, even though you are on the board now.  What the HOA board does with the neighborhood money I no longer know.   I can't even get them to Tell me where the CODT funds that suddenly were never mentioned again after the last minutes of Fall of 2016  ended up.   They simply were never mentioned again.   I have asked the new treasurer twice over the summer to let me know where it went.  He did respond back that he would dig around and let me know, but twice now I never heard another response.  If records were being kept properly this would take a couple of minutes to know where the funds are or are not.    Why would it take so long to find the answer.   I guess it is the same that they apparently don't even know who paid and has not paid dues.  We use to keep a paid membership role posted on this site of every person paying dues.  That way there was no quesiton who paid and who did not paid and anyone could do the math.   There are some things screwed up about the way the Madison Park HOA is ran these day.  Time for some new board members, instead of worrying for years about changing the bylaws a goal of Douglas Welton since at least 2014.  Bylaw changes per the current bylaws are supposed to be restricted as to the powers of the board being changed.
I guess some connected to the board forget the time I gave them $75 of HOA money to buy 3 bags of pop corn to pass out at a trunk or treat, because they didn't want us to just pass out candy.   That was when Trunk or Treat was a mons group event that the HOA simply supported through advertising and participation.
After all outside of most churches doing trunk or treats Halloween is always on 10/31/18.   Not like your event is midnight dragging small children to come out.
Families can swing by with their children grab some candy, buy a meal and go out on more trick or treating without having to get costumed up twice in one weekend.  Adults can swing by just for the food making this fun for all ages, just like last year
If anyone does not want to do your event there is always plenty of churches doing their Sunday Christian toned costume Trunk or Treats as an alternative.
My guess though like last year,it will be another huge success.
