We have not been crime free, however crime mappings web site has been down for at least 2 weeks.   It is a site wide issue so no data to share.

Remember after Christmas to not advertise your new TV's.    Break those boxes down.

You can even run over to Park Road Park and toss it in the recycling bins at the self service recycling center in the park.

Be sure to not bring trash.   No contents inside the box just cardboard.

Park Road Park's recycling center has been so trashed lately with illegally dumping that their will possibly be limited hours and staffing at that site in the future.

It is ashame to have to spend more tax payer money because some can't follow the rules! 

Only thing going to Park Road Park Recycling should be the same items for your curb side recycling can in Mecklenburg County.

Remember no plastic bags or plastic containers for food in your recycling can.

Recycle Right.   Just trash in the curbside cans cost 1.5 Million a year in rehauling to the speedway landfill.  That does not include equipment breaks down and injuries to staff from trash going in the reycling.  

WHEN IN DOUBT THROW IT OUT!

Remember only plastics with a neck.   That eliminates a lot of pastic!  That is all we take in Mecklenburg County NC.
