The treasury report reflected that we have $1,879.68.

The Association has built a flower bed at Darlington Park below the sign. Lowe’s sold the materials at half price.
Highland Park Church advertised to clean up your yard. They have had over 45 requests.
Litter clean up is rescheduled for June 6th. Meet at Darlington Park at 8am. The Association will provide refreshments and supplies to collect litter. Volunteers are encouraged to come.
Elections for new officers for the Hoover Neighborhood Association will be held in October. Please consider nominations. Pam Skipper has requested to be an inactive board member. Wendy Sheets will step in as an active board member.
Evan Taylor is in the process of designing t-shirts to promote our neighborhood association. Also Bill Wagoner has setup a Hoover Neighborhood Association site on Facebook. Great way to meet your neighbors.

You are encouraged to contact the BBB concerning any business before you engage in a transaction. They also give reviews on charity organizations.
Our June meeting is scheduled for Church of Christ at 29th and Yale. The speaker will be Lori Fullbright.
