Lead pastor of Love Wins Ministries in North Carolina is identified by cops as the man who urinated on a woman on an overnight flight after having a 'terrible reaction' from mixing alcohol and sleeping pills

• Police identified Daniel Chalmers as the pastor who urinated on Alicia Beverly on a Delta flight from Las Vegas to Detroit on October 13  
• Chalmers issued an apology on Tuesday, saying: 'I took an Ambien for the first time to sleep well on my flight and had a terrible reaction'
• 'I am so sorry for how this effected [sic] everyone on this flight and especially one lady passenger. I have reached out and apologized to her as well,' he added 
• Chalmers is the lead pastor at Love Wins Ministries in Raleigh, North Carolina 
• The police report said Chalmers initially denied Beverly's accusations when he was arrested after the flight landed and cited for simple assault
• He also told the captain he would sue Delta for defamation, the report states
• Initial news reports described the perpetrator as a prominent 'North Carolina pastor', prompting fevered online speculation about his identity
• Famed televangelist Billy Graham's grandson Will took to social media to deny rumors that it was him last week
