We just purchased Direct tv and are having it installed soon. I have seen a couple of dishes places on top of the shed roofs behind the homes we live in. Our shed is a little too low for the dish. I have tried like hell to contact HOA but have had no luck in trying to let them know we are installing the dish directly above our shed on the back edge of our back roof. It is hidden by trees at the main intersection of the road out front. It's only visible from the left side behind our house. Direct tv's legal department said because we OWN our home we do not need permission from HOA to put up our dish for Direct tv. Just curious if anyone knows anything about that topic since we have a new HOA in place.... thanks.
