Beech Grove HELP
Ok ,maybe a little help here from the HOA. Unfortunatly I am trying to sell my house and with the housing market so bad i can take all the help i can get. I dont live in my house anymore so im not in Kentucky to do this myself. Our street has gone to crap. I show up to check on the house and this is what i see. 1) a broke down Chevy truck that sat for a month. 2) trash cans sitting out over the weekend, 3) cars parked out front of my house in front of the coomon area (which by the way the culprit said it was only temporary ummm back in December.) How tempoary is it that they use the street as a parking lot when they have a driveway. This is every single day.. Oh by the way its a white SUV that thankfully the driver loaded a ton of speakers in the back. I had an Open house and 4 of the 10 people that showed up commented that the street was trashy..How sad. I cant even sell my house because the HOA has let our street become a parking lot. Oh by the way there needs to be a rule about yards..seriously some yards are only weeds. but seriously i have to drive zig zag down beech grove because people either break down for over a month or a parent lets his kids park in the coomon area .....please address. the thought of my house not selling because people think the street is trashy....HOA should be ashamed of themselves....

Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor

Well, First off you picked a fantastic time to sell your house being as the the economy isnt so great and all. Secondly if you seriously think your house is not selling because of an SUV parked by the common area (not your house or land) than you have issues. The huge speakers you are reffering to are actually not even plugged in and you cant even see them (unless your a nosy person snooping around someone elses stuff). Out of all the issues in this neighborhood and you didnt even hit on the important ones such as ... Stray animals running around and defacating everywhere and there owners are nowhere to be seen, people parking there guests in front of others mailboxes instead of being respectfull and parking excess near everyones common area. Just because you only had two cars and could fit in your driveway I dont expect you to understand ,we try to be polite and organize the vehicles according to the times we leave that way we dont wake the neighborhood up early in the morning(by starting all the cars and rearranging) so we can leave. Oh and next time be a grown up and come and express your issues instead of whinning on a message board.

                              God Bless,

Matthew weegens (owner of the white SUV and apparently also a kid not plural despite being 21)
