Respect-O-Meter: Respected Neighbor
Pool

Last Saturday was my first trip to the pool....... I must say, it was not pleasant.  First of all, the lifeguards were scrubbing the tile w/ Ajax while people were swimming.    There was a young boy swimming in his UNDERWEAR (I thought I read that only SWIM WEAR was to be worn)  I also read that NO GLASS  was allowed in the pool, however, the wedding that was to take place was serving beer in GLASS BOTTLES.  When the lifeguard reminded the host of this, he very loudly said "F**K Off.  I must have heard the F word 15 times.  14 of them was from a guy swimming ,  the 15th was from the guard himself......

Are the "RULES" only for some ?   I just want to make sure before I venture back out there.

They've always scrubbed the tiles while people are swimming.  That little bit of Ajax will disolve fine in all that water.  In fact, it used to be a punishment for kids who wouldn't behave - scrub the tiles for 10 minutes.

The boy swimming in his underwear should have been sent home.

Some people can't say a whole sentence with out using the F-word every other word.  This shouldn't be allowed.

Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor

hello skradula

I just want to say ur a better person then me ok cause I would have snapped ok cause thats why I don't go to the pol at all an I been living here for an very long time ok with my wife. how offten is it pleasent is it to go any where. If I saw the lifeguards doing any type of cleaning n I had my kids or any one in my falimy I would have left an called the board of health. cause any cleaning should be done at least an hour before the pool opens for the safety of the parents and there kids. an the lifeguard should have not let the kid in with his underware. then the whole thing with the wedding that should have been set up to where the pol would be closed that day. an the lifeguard that was cussing he wouldn't had his job no more. as far as the wedding it would have ended real soon ok. I'm straight forward ok I say whats on my mind and don't care.....   amaru37

hello chani,

ok well let me just say if I were to go to the pol an I had my kids, any of my cousin,or nerghborhood kids with me that means there my responsablity ok that means if something happens it falls on me right? so any cleaning that need's to be done as far as cleaning the tiles that should be done when the pool is closed or at least an hour before the pool opens for the safety of anyone is the pool. casue u can't clean an watch the people in the pool at the same time. then u say it use to bea punishment for the kids who wouldn't behave. wow I dought that was a rule that was posted ok cause If my kid were to get on his hands an knees an scrud some tiles ok the pool would be shut down ok thats slavery ok and them days are over with ok. when u have a public pool ok any cleaning is to be done before the pool opens or when the pool is closed. If a child were to act up 1 warning an that's it the next time him an anyone else involved is sent home no questions. the lifeguard is there to watch to see whats going on ok he is at falt if something were to happen.....    amaru37
