Let’s talk about how Charlotte should grow! The City of Charlotte is launching an important project: the creation of a comprehensive plan outlining our community’s vision of how we want to grow and the steps we need to take to get there.  

In an effort to make sure we’re capturing the community’s ideas and thoughts for the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan, there are a variety of ways to get involved in-person and online:

2. Sign up for email updates.
3. Follow us on Facebook @CLTplanning.
4. Follow us on Instagram @CLTplanning.
5. Take part in events (see below).

Three public meetings will be held during the month of March, so choose the one that works best for you! Refreshments will be provided.

• Tuesday March 5^th 6-8pm at Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 1243 West Blvd.
• Wednesday March 6^th 12-1pm at Foundation for the Carolina, 220 North Tryon St.
• Thursday March 20^th 6-8pm at Simmons YMCA, 6824 Democracy Dr.

We will also host a series of small pop-up meetings throughout the community over the next two months, and additional workshops will be held in future phases of the project, so if you are unable to attend the workshops there will be other opportunities to get involved!
