CHARLOTTE — As protests continue across the country in the wake of George Floyd’s death at the hands of police in Minneapolis, Tryon Street in uptown Charlotte will have “Black Lives Matter” painted onto the asphalt Tuesday. Artists, collaborating with the City of Charlotte, Charlotte is Creative, Brand the Moth and BLKMRKTCLT, began taping off the letters just after sunrise in the heart of uptown, on Tryon Street between 3rd and 4th streets. |
