Yes, I received a flyer today referring to this event.  Neighbor and I talked and she brought this site to my attention.  Was shocked to see I wasn't alone in wanting to discuss what can be done to further benefit our community.  I regret having to plead ignornace about workings of north lake but look forward to meeting to bring me up to speed.      

the term of our current officers ended on 9-13-08 , I and several other concerned homeowners have phoned and Emailed them repeatedly about having the election - they have ignored all attempts at communication - maybe they think we will just "forget" that their term is up - i was the one who made and distributed the flyer - our current vice pres Jimmy Owens was seen walking down the road removing the flyers by 2 homeowners - he has NO right to try to prevent this election - at any rate - the election meeting is going forward as planned on  10-5-08 at 3 pm , they can attend - or they can not attend - its their choice - the flyer is now scheduled to be re-delivered by hand to each homeowner - i have been here for 5 years - it is a looooong story with these people - but I stand for CHANGE  and PROGRESS - and i believe in taking care of business first and foremost - it is disgraceful to just let things go the way they have done - protecting property values concerns us all - i will see you at the meeting - i am glad to see others feel as i do
