Construction at Night? Noise on Londonderry Road

Posted in: Madison Park

I was awakened early this am at 4:25 am 3/12/19 by a loud banging noise that sounded like a dump truck flipping over on Tyvola Road.  I really expected to hear sirens but did not.

Then around 6:25 am I heard the nosie again, but it was much quicker. I jumped up and looked out the front windows and immediately noticed bright lights on the CMS Smith Family Center property in the area of the new school construction.

Then it caught my eyes.   A large dump truck was running along the rear of the homes on Londonderry Road nearest Tyvola.

I guess what I heard at 4:25 am was more of the same?

I know it has been very wet lately, but CMS working during the night is not only rude it makes you Guy's a Horrible Neighbor.

It is expectred to hear noise during daylight hours, but I do not expect to be woke up by it during the overnight.

That construction company can say what they want to say, but the trucks were directly on the property line behind the chain link fence that separated the neighbors back yards from the houses.

Those residential lots are about 185 feet from street to rear lot and that includes the front yards.  The houses of course sit back from about 1/3 or more of that distance to the school property.
