Stand For Animals Price Changes!

Posted in: Madison Park

Hope you and your animal family members are well and enjoying the warm (hot!) weather. I’m writing to update you on some important changes here at Stand for Animals.

To improve quality and delivery of care, we are tweaking the number and type of services provided. The effects of inflation and supply-chain issues are also forcing us to increase pricing. Below is a list of our service offerings and changes (there will also be small increases on some of our products and spay neuter surgeries):

Although prices are going up, we’ll continue to offer financial assistance for those in need.

Staffing remains a challenge, as it is for many other businesses. Finding and retaining workers in our field is especially tough with a national shortage of veterinarians and vet techs. Staffing shortages are affecting our ability to meet the demand for appointments and to accept new clients. This is a top priority and we are working hard to get staffing levels back where they need to be, although the process will take time.

Despite the choppy water, Stand For Animals sails on as the only non-profit veterinary practice in the region working to meet the needs of ALL pet owners. We deliver practical treatment solutions, with interest-free payment plans, and financial subsidies that remove financial hurdles for those who cannot afford care for their animals. In this regard, our organization is both unique and vital.

Every day, there are reminders of why we do this work. Recently a Good Samaritan brought in a kitten that was found on the side of the road. The animal had been hit by a car and had a broken jaw. In most other settings, the kitten would have been euthanized, but our dedicated docs refused to accept that outcome. They inserted a feeding tube to give the 8-week old patient a chance to survive while his jaw healed. With food in his belly and the loving care and attention from our doctors and veterinary assistants, the kitten is now healthy, happy, and looking for a forever home.

Thanks as always for your ongoing support of Stand for Animals. We could not do this without you.

Please let me know if you have questions or concerns.
