The City Wide Land-Use Meeting occurs on the evening of the last Monday each month (with the exception of November and December.
The focus is on information sharing. City proposals can be presented to the group or citizens may bring specific issues they would like to see discussed to the group as well.
An additional benefit is the networking opportunity created where neighborhood association land-use chairs and interested citizens can meet people from various parts of the city to discuss how land-use issues affect livability.
One obvious benefit is the opportunity to develop an effective coordination of neighborhood responses to specific proposals or concepts. Previous meetings have discussed concerns regarding growth management, density and neighborhood livability.
If you have a specific issue you would like to see addressed, please submit the item for agenda consideration by the 10th of the month to the phone/email addresses listed.
