Hello to ALL Neighbors!  I was born in Scottsdale Neighborhood,  with just a few years absent, and will probably live out my life here.  I have seen a lot of change in my 36 years, some good and some bad!  My family has always been involved in the neighborhood and different projects, for some 30+ years!  We also have 3 other family groups who own and live in houses in Scottsdale.  I just wanted to write a general disscussion.  First, I am happy we have started the Association back, and can see that this does make a difference in our neihborhood!  My main concern is first a lack of communication and outreach from the Association to our neighbors, especially non-members.  We must find some way for better comunication amongst us, Association meetings and context, safety and legal issues, general neighborhood issues and home upkeep.  I would like to stress that this is a neighborhood and not condos or a gated community.  Most of us own our homes and they are our sanctuarys.  Even renters consider this their home.  I think some members need to step back and look at the big picture.  We need to concentrate on the important issues and not the petty ones.  If we concentrate on ourselves, our own homes and the neighbors around us, I think things would go smoother.  It's not up to a few members to cruise the neighborhood and try to "police" it themselves.  We all need to concentrate on communication, getting the word out to all(including non-members) and deal with our own homes and issues.  This would make everyone, including yourself, a lot happier in life!  This web site is one great venue, but it is obviously not being kept updated or being promoted as a useful tool!  Anyway, lets all work together, take care of ourselves and live a happy, fun life in this beatiful NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!  THANKS!!!!
