August 16, 2005
Meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m.

Attendees: Mayor Camille Mills, Commissioners Doug Edwards and Don McGehee, and Attorney John Singler.

• Minutes: Motion to approve June minutes made by Camille and seconded by Doug.

• Treasurer’s Report: No report from Treasurer. Discussed question from Gayle Wilhelmi regarding publishing the Uniform Financial Information Report we file annually with Department for Local Government. She believed we needed to publish it 30 days after we filed the form. John indicated we do not have to “publish” this report since we provide copies of the budget to residents and City residents have not disputed the budget. John thinks posting a copy of the budget onto our website would be appropriate.

• Roads, Street Lights, Signs:
o Status of calls to Birch Trautwein & Mims and Transportation Cabinet

• Police, Fire & Traffic:
○ 2908 Westfield Road – Two twelve year old boys from Linconshire shot six pellets into the picture window. Also shot a boy in the head in Linconshire. Police have apprehended the boys but resident could not get Detectives to return call. Camille got contact information for the Sergeant over the Detectives for our area and forwarded to resident.

• Planning:

• Resident Issues:

 Ordinances:
○ Sherry mailed Ordinance 1 and 2, Series 2005-2006 in June along with the tax bills.
o Grant for codification of ordinances – Received grant money (need copy of deposit in grant file), copies of certain ordinances, resolutions and other documents mailed to American Legal on August 13 (copies provided to John Singler). Camille made motion to approve the resolution for the grant funds for the Codification Project. Don seconded and motion passed unanimously.

Motion made by Camille to adjourn meeting. Motion seconded by Don.

Meeting Adjourned at 7:35 p.m. Next meeting scheduled for September 20th unless it is cancelled due to no new items to discuss. Camille will be unable to attend due to classes at U of L but will call everyone to confirm if meeting is cancelled.
