Emergency Vehicles and Waste Pro Blocked

Posted in: Beachwood

*Please be considerate of your neighbors when parking on the street.  We understand on-street parking is allowed and often used (with the exception of Beachwood Blvd).  However, recently there have been incidents where WastePro cannot get down the street, or residents cannot access their homes due to cars parked on the street.  When parking on the street, make sure to stagger your location so that your car is not directly across from another parked car, causing a narrow lane.  (*this was shared in the Beachwood Breeze October 2020).

A possible solution would be to park up in the grass parallel to the sidewalk, but not over the sidewalk.  This would open up the street for the flow of traffic.

Additionally, the Emergency / Fire trucks could NOT go down Sail to get to the house that burned down.  This is so SERIOUS, please help with this issue.
