For everyone that uses Waste Management to haul trash, are you aware that you are paying $3.00 for them to send you an invoice. Unless you pay them online, they are charging you a $3.00 "Administration" fee to cover the cost of sending you an invoice. I never heard of anything like this. Also, a Fuel Surcharge of $11.84 is a bit extreme...that's $11.84 for EACH HOUSEHOLD in Ballymeade keep in mind....that means Waste Mgt is getting about $2300 a quarter extra for coming into our development.

They are a home grown Delaware company. Here's what they offer:
- once a week only pick up on Thurs (put it out Wednesday evening like now)
- Your choice of the very large 95 gal pail or a smaller 65 gal pail, 2 pails if you like
- $68.70 per quarter including fuel charge
- one household item per week (mattress, washing machine, etc.)
- 2 other trash pails, pluse 5 plastic bags of trash each week (on top of the IDS pail)
If you decide to stay with Waste Mgt. you can call them and they will waive the $3.00 invoice bill if you answer their question about do you pay invoices online negatively. I don't pay invoices online at all. By cutting to one pick up a week the fuel charge will be cut in half. The will allow extra plastic bags and an extra trash pail I think but they will still charge for house hold items - $25 to $75 per pick up depending on the size of it.
